After months of coaxing & 'bribery' Mira finally had her ears pierced. Sponsored by the generosity of my cousin,'Kakak Kikin', Amira had her first taste of bling-bling in the form of a diamond ear-stud(kids nowadays!).Of course it did not go as smoothly as we had imagined. Although with Amira, we expected a wee bit of apprehension - she has this 'thing' about strangers touching her. Never once have a visit to the family doctor have ever been one without tears. So I expected no different with the ear-piercing process especially with 2 lady strangers hovering around her expecting her to sit still for just 3 seconds. After a a loud wail of at least 8.5 decibels vibrating about 3 floors of Wisma Atria for a duration of 5 minutes, Amira finally had her ears-pierced.I say bring out the dangly earrings now Ummi!
