The time spent in
Tioman
felt slow but it amazingly passed by us faster than we thought. Our days there were literally all about the sun & the sea - no TV, no newspapers, no malls, no ice-blended coffee & no computers. Purely laid-back, relaxing. The kids, suffice to say, had fun to the max - who wouldnt be when all u do when u wake up is hit the clear blue sea, have lunch then hit the sea again to swim with the fishes.
Snorkling around the islands was amazing - Masyaallah, to witness His creation sprouting right before your eyes, looking up close at corals in hues of greens, blues & reds, swimming alongside ultramarine blue fishes the size of your arm,& the likes of Dories & Nemos literally beside you.
When nightfalls, we witness the amazing sunset as we digged in our fresh grilled dinner by the beach with our feet in the sand.
Oh, not forgetting its still the Euro2008 season, being the ardent soccer fanatic, the husband have graciously, without mighty complaining, head to the outdoor cafe every night to watch the televised games - as the rooms were not even equipped with TV - for that, I could not thank him enough :)
A truely tranquil atmosphere where for just a few days we forgot how busy & chaotic our pace of lives were back home...
