You know how as a kid, you use to look at the colourful hot-air balloons in mountainous areas and wonder how it felt like? Nowadays, every weekend when we drive to the grandparents' at Eunos, we saw this huge yellow & red balloon hovering above the city area. The kids would get so excited at the sight. So we brought them 'flying' in the big ballon earlier today. I think, as the cable-car ride in Langkawi, the dad is more terrified at the thought of hovering several thousand metres off the ground than Amirul is. We did however manage to enjoy the astounding view & amazing breeze all of the 10-12 minutes that we were up in the sky.
Being the last week of holidays and all, we try to bring the kids to as much as places as we could possibly able to. We have covered the Science Centre, couple of movies, Toys r Us every other week, Sesame St & Hi-5 show and now the air-balloon experience. With another 2-3 days more to go, we still owe him the soccer game at West Coast Park, Sentosa, The Zoo, The pool (among others that we can still remember that we said we would bring him to)...But with so many places and so little time I think the owed outings will spill-over when school re-opens...but then again, by then we got another biggest headache to date - Primary 1 registration...
