Barely a month after my cousin Nora's Wedding, we welcome yet another make-merry event in the form of another cousin's wedding, the youngest son of my Pak Long, Zaydi. The 'festivities' started from Thursday night right up to Sunday evening - so it was indeed a busy weekend for us.

The Akad Nikah was held on Saturday at Fort Canning Park followed by the reception hosted by the bride's family in the afternoon.

On Sunday, they had their usual persandingan at the groom's place where we once again did our part in the 'rewang-combo'. It was a simple wedding where close family & relatives meet-up again for yet another get together with never a lack of topic to yap & talk about. Even the sudden downpour in the afternoon ,I believe, did not dampen the festive atmosphere.I'm sure gonna miss events like this, tiring it maybe we sure had fun & I believe it will be quite sometime till another cousin(or sibling) gets hitched again..
