The past weekend felt like a daze - daze as in a good one as it passed by me so quickly. Friday night, I met up with my primary school mates for another fun dinner at Vivo. ALthough only 8 of the expected 15 attended, it was still a fun & a memorable night - more like noisy-bunch especially hearing all 8 30-something yapping & giggling like teenagers.
On Saturday, 2 of the Shiralique offsprings celebrated their 6th & 8th birthday over at East Coast Chalet, now named-albeit more action-classily to Goldkist Resorts. There were bouncy castles, little fairies & pixies playing dress-ups, clowns, face-painters, pop-corn & cotton candy wheel carts & it certainly felt like a carnival. The kids had fun. They never seem to get tired of the bouncy castle jumping non-stop for 4 hours straight. At the end of the night, the kid,s were like me, tired but very happy.
Back in Hallyu-land, its been raining Ji-Hoon in town, well in this Ahjumma's town at least. Our boy-wonder have been keeping himself busy with one movie after another and even managed to star in a musical in between movie preview screenings. I have been fed with just trailers of his 'Antique Bakery' which opened on my birthday last year, and due to its mature theme, I doubt it would be screening in Singapore anytime soon. I of course will not be able to catch him in the musical 'Don Juan' as it would only be staged in Korea, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that ' Kitchen' in which he is starring with Shin Min-ah will be screened here without any problems. I do hope he'll do another drama soon as its been quite a while now since he acted in any drama series. Apparently the much anticipated drama serial that everyone thought would reunite him again with Yoon Eun Hye have been canned. I am still halfway through 'Air-City'. It seems that I could never seem to have that short marathon stint to watch it fully to completion - strange isnt it coming from a non-full-time,not-so-SAHM who seems to have time in her hands. So meanwhile, in between checking my e-mails I would just have to be contented with trailers of Ji-hoon movies - and oh a 'Kitchen' trailer where he serenades Min-Ah in french...how sweet is that?? I think this Ahjumma has lost it again...tsk tsk tsk...
