I turned Martha Stewart (just one daylah!) over the weekend. We had a 'Bake-Off' session among friends where we got together and bake something yummy. It was my first ever & under the watchful eye of our hostess who's also coincidentally the 'culinary Principal', I managed to finally satisfy my craving for Oreo Cheesecake.We managed to dish out about 5 cakes & pastries, amidst the running kids and the shouting mummies. Some of us met for the first time, although our conversations & jokes seemed to suggest otherwise. I think all of the mummies & kids had a great time(I know I surely did !). Never knew baking would be this fun.So I think this session have spurned off some baking instincts in us, some of us are slowly coaxing the other-half for a bread machine ( :) ) and some of us made a resolution to be more culinary domesticated. And of course...looking forward again to more meet ups like these...
