I'm almost certain. Last week I was not sure, almost negative even. My head & husband have been the voice of reason, my heart always tries to dispute whatever reason. I always say, if aint broken why fix it. why try & make adjustments to a comfortable situation. But then, how long am I going to rest on my laurels. I think 4 years is more than enough. The offer does not come to just anybody. They even try to concede to my requests & willing to make compromises just so I can accept the offer, They are still giving me a few more days as the 1st round of offer I have rejected. They will come back to me again, hopeful I will have a change of heart. As the days go by, I start to think with reason & think in terms of reality. With the economic showing no sign of certainty, it would be silly to just let an opportunity like this slip by. I am facing the fact that I am not in my prime of youth, but with me comes a wealth of experience that they must have known will come in handy. My husband said just give my all in the next 5 years. I mean 4 years did go by so quickly without me realizing it. I had more than my fair share of fun & now its high time to put what I have to good use. The husband say if I can give my all in the next 5 yrs, I can definitely retire in peace before I hit 40.(so looking forward to that - tai-tai-dom still sounds good u know). I think its almost certain now. I'll see if there a few more conditions that they can fulfil to fully convince me to come aboard.Back in my K-lala-Land, for the past few days, I rediscovered the joys of teeny-bopper high school romance. You HAVE to watch 'Boys Over Flowers'. Its the korean version of the Taiwanese F4 Meteor Gardens & of the original Japanese Manga adaptation of Hana Yori Dango. Biased as I am, yes, I much preferred the Korean version of it. I was first attracted to watch it knowing that Kim Bum would be in it, having made a fan after watching him as the young Song Seung Hoon in 'East of Eden'. But to my horror, I was even more addicted watching the likes of Lee Min Ho inspite of my utmost aversion to any kind of man-perm (think Jae Hee in Yu Hee the Witch) . I think he is definitely one of those rare breed that makes a man-perm look so acceptable. Its currently into it's 13th episode in Korea but KBS world just started airing its 1st episode every Monday & Tuesday nights over the cable. I even managed to rope in my mum to watch Jan-di in Shinhwa School & surprise even myself that she would enjoy watching it with me. I have completed(finally) watching 'Air City' and even though it was not too bland, I wouldnt say I was raving about it although I think Lee Jung Jae looking like James Lye is a plus point. Meanwhile, I will look forward to Tuesdays & Wednesdays once someone uploads the latest episode of Kkotboda Namja :)
